1962 – 2005
In 1962 NL was founded to manufacture nylon & synthetic yarns.
It was listed on the BSE in 1976 and was considered a blue chip company until unrealized expansion plans during turbulent times for the Indian Synthetic Textile Industry lead to losses and an erosion of net worth.
In 1993, implementation of the Rehabilitation Scheme began, that ended with the restructuring and move towards commercial real estate on the factory land.
