Nirlon Knowledge Park has been designed bearing in mind stringent international safety and environmental standards and is certified by IGBC and WELL Building Standards.
As examples of our commitment, the park has approximately 1000 trees, most of which have been retained from the original factory land, the buildings are clad with natural clay tiles and three state-of-the-art sewage water treatment plants ensure that waste water is efficiently recycled and reused extensively within the Park.
Nirlon Knowledge Park is an ecologically friendly environment that people look forward to working in, and which is conducive to retaining skilled, motivated professionals. Extensive green spaces, water bodies, landscaped terraces, and courtyards have been created to ensure that the development has a tranquil, campus like feel. Green Design and construction practices significantly reduce or eliminate the negative impact of buildings on the environment and occupants by reducing NKP’s carbon footprint, and enhancing water & energy efficiency.
Nirlon Knowledge Park is one of the first campuses of this scale in India to achieve Platinum/Gold LEED certification for its buildings (core and shell). Phases I to IV have LEED Gold and Phase V has LEED Platinum rating.

The LEED certification of green rating for different types of buildings is given by the IGBC & UGBC (Indian / US Green Building Council). LEED stands for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design. A leading-edge system for designing, constructing, operating and certifying India's green buildings. Through the IGBC, NKP has received LEED certification.

WELL Building Standard - Health-Safety Rating is an internationally recognized certification that demonstrates that the real estate property has been built and is being operated at an environmentally and employee friendly level, that is beneficial for all stakeholders.
